Amorie Liebenberg

Dietician

I am a registered dietitian who completed my BSc Dietetics degree at North-West University, Potchefstroom. My passion for supporting mothers and babies led me to complete additional training in lactation consultancy, and I am now a certified lactation consultant.

Currently, I am furthering my knowledge through the Nutrition Network with a focus on the low-carb and ketogenic lifestyle. My special interests include low-carb nutrition, ketogenic diets, gut health, mental health, autoimmune conditions, hypothyroidism, insulin resistance, adrenal burnout, hormonal disorders, and PCOS.

I have a particular interest in gut health, as it plays a central role in many of these conditions — from mental well-being and autoimmune disease to hormonal balance and metabolic health.

My professional journey is deeply personal — I have experienced my own challenges with insulin resistance, autoimmune disease, and adrenal burnout. This has given me not only a greater understanding of the science but also a deep empathy for those walking a similar path.

My goal is to provide evidence-based, compassionate care with an individual and holistic approach — supporting each person to find a way of eating and living that restores balance, improves energy, and promotes long-term health.
