@ Health Dieticians
I studied at Potchefstroom University and have been practicing my passion for the last 15 years.
My special interest are: Functional Nutrition (achieving health and harmony through eating wholesome and healthy), Weight Management, Hormonal Health (Endometriosis, PCOS, Peri-menopause, Menopause, Osteopenia and Osteoporosis), Adrenal Health, Diabetes mellitus (CDE accredited practitioner), cardiovascular disease, thyroid health, auto immune diseases (Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteo Arthritis, Lupus and Fibromyalgia), gastro intestinal disorders and reaching gastro intestinal harmony, as well as all inflammatory conditions including joint- and muscle health. I also have an esteemed interest in babies and children and work a lot with kidney related conditions, allergies, fussy eaters, constipation, concentration related disorders and introduction of solids.
I have the privilege of raising four wonderful children. Nutrition has provided me with so much knowledge to live and be more healthy as well as to always stay on top of new trends and changes in my field. As dietician I am also very involved in Genetic Testing to empower my patient with knowledge as genetics can help a person to regulate their health much more directly based on a person’s individual outcome.
I also completed a 2 year post graduate diploma through the International Functional Nutrition Academy. Furthering my studies is an wonderful tool to always provide patients with the best up to date knowledge.
I am a firm believer that being healthy empowers people and that this can be absolutely achievable.
I studied at the University of Pretoria where I obtained my Bachelors in Dietetics. I have personal experience with the burden of chronic disease and therefore I want to help people with chronic disease reversal and management through diet and lifestyle.
I have a special interest in functional nutrition. Nutrition can be used to treat and reverse heart problems, cancer, metabolic syndrome, PCOS, fatty liver, pain, inflammation and improve blood sugar regulation,
I have further studies in neuro-nutrition for paediatrics to assist patients with autism, ADHD, CP, and Down syndrome to name a few. I also have experience in Breastfeeding support for mothers.
Additionally, I enjoy being creative with photography, graphic design and crafts. I love being active and spending time in nature.
I have a passion to help people gain more knowledge about how they can live healthier lives while feeling happy and energetic.

This quote, credited to being said by Hippocrates thousands of years ago, is a concept that I firmly believe that we should all live by today.
I consider what we eat central to achieving good health and wellbeing and I am passionate about translating the sciences into practical and sustainable lifestyle habits that can help optimise health. I often experiment with different types of foods and cuisines (stop the stigma of healthy food being rabbit food!) and enjoy adapting it to individual eating habits and preferences that everyone can enjoy.
I am currently studying a post graduate diploma in Performance Nutrition through the Institute of Performance Nutrition (UK), and, naturally, my special interests lay within sports and performance nutrition, as well as inflammatory and auto-immune conditions, hormonal disorders such as PCOS, chronic diseases of lifestyle such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease and finally, weight and body composition management.
I love working with people in providing unique, individualised approaches to reach their goals and ultimately become the best versions of themselves!
